About the Journal
Journal description
The Journal of Seismic Response Control Systems is committed to the free dissemination of knowledge. As such, it operates under an open access model, where publishing, consulting, and downloading papers are completely free of charge.
Aims and scope
The Journal of Seismic Response Control Systems is an open forum for the publication of high-quality scientific and technical articles that reflect the most recent advances in the research on structures equipped with seismic response control systems, namely: seismic isolation, seismic energy dissipation or others. Contributions dealing with new developments or innovative applications of seismic protection systems in general will be welcomed. The journal covers, without limitation, the following areas: seismic protection systems, seismic response control systems, base isolation, passive, active or semi-active dissipation, earthquake engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, structural health; risk engineering; multiple risks in engineering; structural optimization; design methods; analysis methods; experiments and experimental methods; manufacturing and construction of structures equipped with some seismic protection technology; performance-based design; practical and application cases, among others.
