Submissions

Proposed manuscripts must be original works that have not previously been published in other journals. Likewise, authors who propose their manuscripts to this journal agree not to submit their work for review to third journals simultaneously. All authors must approve the manuscript proposal. The journal will not be responsible for any legal liability or claims from third parties for compensation.

At the top of this page, there is a 'Make a new submission' hyperlink that provides access to the system for submitting papers to this journal. Once in the system, authors should upload the necessary manuscript files and provide additional information to initiate the review process.

All papers submitted to the journal must follow the established format and be sent in an editable file. Manuscripts submitted in PDF format will not be accepted. To facilitate the preparation of the manuscript, an editable Word file with the established format can be obtained at the following link. The maximum size should be 100 MB.

Template

The characteristics of the format established for proposing manuscripts are as follows.

  • Title and authorship

All proposed manuscripts should have a concise and informative title about the research carried out.

Authors' names, starting with their last names, should be listed after the title. Each author should include their affiliation, such as the university or research center and the country of origin. If two or more authors share the same affiliation, it only needs to be listed once. Additionally, the corresponding author (the one submitting the manuscript) should provide a contact email address.

  • Abstract y keywords

Proposed manuscripts should include an abstract of between 150 and 250 words indicating the motivation, methodology, and results obtained from the research work. It is highly recommended to avoid the use of abbreviations and references within the abstract. Likewise, the author should provide 4 to 6 keywords that will help the manuscript to be indexed.

  • Manuscript text

Proposed manuscripts should include an introduction and a conclusion section. The proposed manuscript should include all information that the authors consider pertinent. Each section of the manuscript should be indicated with headings; these should be numbered and not exceed two levels. A blank space should be left before the beginning of each section unless the previous section ended with a table or figure. There is no limit on the number of pages requested.

  • Tables

All tables should be numbered with Arabic numerals and in the order of their appearance. When reference is made to any table within the manuscript's text, it should be done employing the table number. Likewise, tables should have a brief and concise description, which should be placed at the top. A blank space should be left after the tables.

  • Figures

All figures should be numbered with Arabic numerals and in order of appearance. When reference is made to any figure in the manuscript's text, it should be done employing the figure number. Likewise, figures should have a brief and concise description, which should be placed at the bottom of the figure. When a figure is divided into parts, each part should be named by lowercase letters (a, b, c, etc.).

  • Equations

Equations should be centered in the text and numbered consecutively. It is highly recommended to use support applications, such as MathType or similar, for creating scientific literature.

  • References

Authors should follow the citation style defined by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) throughout the document. Special care should be taken to ensure that references are listed in order of appearance.

Authors should only cite papers that have influenced their work. In addition, care should be taken that the reference list contains only the papers cited in the body of the manuscript. Whenever possible, DOIs should be included in the reference list.

Peer review process

This journal follows a double-blind peer-review process. The review process of the proposed manuscript begins with an initial suitability check by the editor-in-charge. In this part of the process, a software evaluation of the manuscript will be performed to look for possible signs of plagiarism. The peer review process will proceed if the editor-in-charge considers the proposed manuscript adequate. Otherwise, the manuscript will be rejected, and the authors will be informed of the decision as soon as possible and in a justified manner.

The peer review process is a feedback process that guarantees the scientific quality of published articles. For such reasons, the review process will seek highly recognized researchers in the field of the proposed manuscript to participate in its evaluation. When proposing the manuscript to the journal, the corresponding author should recommend three potential reviewers, indicating their name, affiliation, and e-mail. The editor-in-charge will consider the reviewer recommendations made by the corresponding author. Authors may also request the exclusion of potential reviewers.

All manuscripts should be reviewed by at least two reviewers. Once the reviewers provide their feedback and recommendations, the editor-in-charge will consider them and issue a decision. If the manuscript is rejected, the authors will be notified promptly and given the reviewers' comments. If the manuscript is deemed acceptable but requires revisions, the authors will be invited to make the necessary improvements. Once the manuscript meets the required standards, the authors will be informed of its acceptance, and the work will proceed to the publication stage.
